Travis Reynolds
Travis Reynolds is a composer and pianist based in Santa Monica
Travis received his Bachelors in Music from The Boston Conservatory, where he was hired as a staff pianist his senior year. The following year he co-founded and performed with the new-music group Soundry, which received the inaugural Boston Conservatory entrepreneurial alumni grant. A versatile pianist, Travis free-lances with everything from soloists to choirs, musicals, and bands. He currently serves as music director and pianist at First Unitarian Universalist of Los Angeles, is an active composition and piano teacher on the West Side, and an aide to the music program at John Adams Middle School.
His music has been heard across the country, in Carnegie Hall, and taken on tour to Europe. His compositions have been performed by the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Lynx Project, Calliope, SoundWave Milwaukee, and members of both the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Boston Modern Orchestra Project. In addition to his work in the concert hall, he has scored numerous short films, and his educational music has been taken up by several high school and amateur string orchestras.
